Earn BIOL494 Internship Credit through Binghamton University
Are you ready to gain real-world experience, make a difference, and have the best summer of your life? Apply for an Ecology Instructor Intern positions at Peconic Dunes Camp located on Long Island New York.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll teach and inspire campers while also completing a customized internship project. You’ll choose one of two tracks for your BIOL494 internship
Ecological Research Track
Develop a research question and hypothesis, collect and analyze data in Peconic Dunes’ diverse ecosystems, including marine, estuary, woodlands, and freshwater.
Present your findings in a final presentation and report.
Education Innovator Track
Design an engaging, hands-on environmental education activity for kids.
Write, prepare, deliver, and revise your lesson.
Compensation and Benefits:
Paid summer position as an instructor
Academic credit through BIOL494 for your internship project
Housing and meals provided (no car required!)
How to Apply
