Overnight Camp

Note: All sessions end Saturday morning after breakfast. All campers must depart at that time even if returning for the following session in order for the staff to prepare for the next week. 

Day Camp

Note: Day camp runs Monday through Friday, with drop off each day between 8:35am and 8:55am and pickup at 5:00pm. Daily activities and programs may be adjusted, modified or limited based on age, weather conditions and the requirements of the NYS Department of Health. 

Sea Adventures at Cedar Beach

Price: $575/session using Debit or ACH ($592.25/session using Credit Card)

Grade: entering 2nd-8th

Session 1: June 29 - July 3

Session 2: July 6 - July 10

Session 3: July 13 - July 17

Session 4: July 20 - July 24

Session 5: July 27 - July 31

Note: Day camp runs Monday through Friday, with drop off each day between 8:35am and 8:55am and pickup at 3:30pm. Daily activities and programs may be adjusted, modified or limited based on age, weather conditions and the requirements of the NYS Department of Health.

Counselors in Training at Peconic Dunes

Price: $2655 using Debit or ACH

($2734.65 using Credit Card)

+$100 for optional lifeguard training

Age: Entering 11th grade and at least 16 years old by June 10, 2025

- Admission: The program only admits up to 8 campers per cohort. Determination is made based on an interview process and the quality of the application. Admittance is not guaranteed.

- Weekend Return: CIT’s will return home each weekend on Saturday morning and return by 11:30 AM on Sunday prior to camper admission.

- Activity Apprenticeships: Work hands-on with camp staff in our various departments including Waterfront, Sports, Wilderness, Art, and ECO.

-Customer Service Development: Gain customer service skills transferrable to future jobs.

- Red Cross Training (optional): Train in ARC lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid. Certifications are dependent on CIT ability to meet ARC standards and evaluations.

- Peer Mediation / Equity Training: Develop conflict resolution skills for managing interpersonal issues. Engage in discussions about equity, diversity, and inclusion.

- Feedback: CIT’s will receive feedback on their growth and performance as an apprentice in both an instructor and counselor role.

Leaders in Training at Sea Adventures

Cohort 2: August 17 - August 21

- Leadership: Develop leadership skills and gain confidence by being a role model for campers.

-Community Service: Gain a sense of fulfillment by completing a group community service project with your cohort.

- Conflict Resolution: Develop conflict resolution skills for managing interpersonal issues.

-Career Readiness: Set personal and professional goals, develop a resume, and practice interview skills.

- Feedback: LIT’s will receive feedback on their growth and performance throughout the week.
